Innisfree it's real squeeze mask - first impression

Hello and Namaste to all!

Sheet masks have taken the beauty and skincare world by storm! The benefits that sheet masks bring to our skin are well proclaimed. I am sure that many women also enjoy the experience of wearing a sheet mask as it gives us a spa like feeling without having to go to the spa or the salon! After hearing long about them and contemplating hard about using them, I finally decided to give them a go... Very recently, I ordered some sheet masks from Yesstyle. For those of us living in the UK or other European countries, websites like Yesstyle are our portal to Korean beauty and skincare products.

For first time sheet mask buyers like myself, it is kind of hard to decide the brand of sheet mask you want to buy as literally every Asian brand seems to have a range of sheet masks. I decided to choose Innisfree because I have heard quite a lot of good things about their sheet masks from beauty bloggers and vloggers. In addition to that it seemed to me like quite a natural and ethical brand.

As I said before they can be bought easily from Yesstyle or any other Korean website that you prefer. The masks that I decided to buy are called Innisfree it's real squeeze mask. I bought a 10 piece variety mask bundle which cost £11.88. This 10 piece bundle is ideal for first time buyers. The sheet masks claim to contain Jeju green complex(green tea, tangerine, cactus, camellia leaves and orchid) which help to keep your skin healthy. They are triple layered sheets that have a long lasting moisturising  effect on the mask so that the essence can be absorbed into the skin to nourish it. The mask is to be left on the face for 10 - 20 minutes. There is no need to wash the face after taking off the mask which I think is super convenient.

One thing to note is that the packaging is really eye pleasing! I really like the packaging of the sheet mask as it is simple yet detailed enough. I like how they have made it look natural and appealing. I received 10 random variations of sheet masks however, I think that they have more than 10 variations in this range. Let's have a look at the ones I received!

Pomegranate - It claims to contain nutrients from squeezed pomegranates to make your skin firm and supple.

Rice - With rice extract, it claims to keep the skin purified and healthy.

Bamboo - Bamboo extract quenches the thirst of the skin and keeps the skin moisturised.

Rose - Fragrant moisture squeezed from rose makes the skin smooth and glow.

Cucumber - Fresh moisture squeezed from cucumbers provide moisture to dry skin.

Manuka honey - Nutrient rich manuka honey helps to moisturise dry and stiffened skin.

Shea butter - Shea butter helps to deliver moisture deep inside dry and tight skin.

Blackberry - Squeezed blackberries are full of nourishment that help to keep the skin healthy.

Green tea - Moisture from green tea moisturises the skin deep inside.

Strawberry - Moisture from squeezed strawberries help to keep the skin bright and healthy.

I am most excited to try out the Strawberry, Blackberry, Rice and Rose sheet masks as they will probably be most suitable for my skin. I have actually already tried out the Rice sheet mask. The mask is literally drenched in all the essence! It was a little tricky for me to apply the mask on my face as I am using this product for the first time. However, I eventually got it done... When I took it off there was still a lot of essence left in the mask and I kind of felt bad throwing it all away... I am sure that to see a real difference I will have to use these masks more often however, even after the first usage I could tell that my face felt really moisturised and healthy. I could notice that all the dry spots on my face were gone! The next day, my face looked dewy and glowy. Not oily at all! I hope that with regular use, I will be able to see some real difference on my face.

I hope that this blog post has been an interesting read for you all!

Keep smiling and shining bright!

Ambika.
