I am so glad that Christmas holidays have finally begun and I now have some free time on my hands! I have been meaning to write about this product since ages however, I have been very busy and preoccupied by university work lately. So, without further delay, let me tell you exactly how I feel about Tanya Burr's Candy Glam Beauty Essentials palette!
I instantly fell in love with it when I saw it for the first time in Tanya Burr's video. I just knew I had to have it in my life! I ordered it from Superdrug at a price of £10 although the original price is £12. I think it has been sold out from all the retailers as there were only a limited number made. It is a limited edition palette that Tanya Burr released for this Christmas.
First of all, I have to say that the packaging of the product is absolutely gorgeous. It is so girly and festive! Tanya Burr has done an excellent job at designing the packaging of all her recently launched products, to be honest. This palette is kind of like a complete face palette. It contains one midi lip gloss, one bronzer, one blusher and nine eyeshadows.
I would say that the packaging is also quite ergonomically designed. It isn't very big or heavy. It has a magnetic lid that closes well. It also has a large mirror inside. I also love the fact that the names of all the products are printed on the packaging. I find the names themselves very cute and appropriate.
The lip gloss is kind of like a sheer gloss however, it does seem to have tiny micro glitters in it. I definitely couldn't feel or see the glitters when I wore it, which I loved. I haven't tried the blusher or the bronzer however, they do seem to be quite pigmented. I especially like how the bronzer isn't too orange therefore, there would be no problem in using it for contouring. All the eyeshadows are of good quality and well pigmented. They weren't chalky at all. There is a good mix of matte, glitter and metallic eyeshadows.
