It is always a delight for me to receive my My Little Boxes every month. Every month, I wait for it with utmost enthusiasm and patience. Last month was no different. The box I received last month is called My Little Fashion Box. The theme is very appropriate due to the large numbers of fashion weeks that are happening this season. So, this box would be very much apt for all the fashion bloggers out there.
As always, the design on the box is so beautiful. One of the reasons why it is a treat for me to receive the box is because of the design on the boxes itself. They never fail to impress me.
The poster looks incredibly chic but I don't think the quote is to my taste.
I am so glad that the scarf I received was the black and white one. I know that it comes in another colour variation which is blue and white. The scarf is a limited edition one by the brand American Vintage. It costs €24 and can be bought from My Little Corner.
I am very fond of painting and decorating my nails so I was very pleased with these nail stickers that they sent me which have been designed in collaboration with Alfa.k. These self adhesive nail decals cost €5.90 and can be bought from Alfa.k.
I do not drink alcohol so I wasn't very pleased when I saw this tiny bottle of cocktail mix in my box. I wish they would have replaced this with some other product while customising my box.
The makeup pouch that comes in every My Little Box is very cute as always. These are also very handy, if I say so myself... It is also always useful to be given these information cards which have everything that I want to know about the products I receive. I also noticed that this month, the prices of some of the products which are usually given on the cards, were in Euros and not Pound Sterling.
Didn't feel ecstatic when I saw this product in the box because I have not had good experiences with Western made BB creams so far. Hence, I have yet to try it out. I also think the colour 'Light' will be too light for my skin. Well, I'll just have to try it and see how it goes... Apparently, this BB cream is suited for sensitive skin and would be especially beneficial to wear during the colder months. The BB cream costs £15 and can be bought from La Roche-Posay.
I wasn't very pleased to find another red lip product in the box this month. First of all I don't wear red lip products and secondly this lip product leaves a really weird feeling on your lips after application. You can actually feel the presence of the product on your lips. The lip colour costs €22 and can be bought from My Little Beauty. Regarding the hair fixing spray, I think it will suit my hair type very well as I have frizzy hair which can be unmanageable sometimes. However, I have yet to try out this product too. The hair fixing spray costs £16 and can be bought from Kerastase.
Overall, this box was a hit and miss for me. There are some things that I like and will use. However, there are many more things that I have hesitated to use or know that I will never use. I also think that there should have been more elements relating to fashion in this month's box.
Finally, I would like to genuinely apologise for taking a long break from blogging. However, I also have genuine reasons for being absent. University started quite recently and I have been quite busy with it. Nevertheless, I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog post!
Keep it stylish!
Ambika.
